Latte places for coffee

Espresso, lattes and cappuccinos exist in our cosmopolitan hub. The flavor varies from spot to spot, so you need to know if it is atmosphere, to go, or a fix that you are after.

Starbucks has arrived in the city and you can find it every day on a new corner. If you must, try the one in front of the Angel on Reforma or just off Avenida Michoacán en Condesa. Update - 12 new locations with 3 within a block of each other in Zona Rosa & 2 at the airport.

You can get a good cup at the small bars in Palacio de Hierro (Condesa), any Pendulo (Polanco, Zona Rosa & Condesa) several small spots between the Zocalo (Main plaza with the Cathedral) and Bellas Artes. Most desert places and nicer restaurants can meet your need.

Then there are the dozen spots along Avenida Maseryk and elsewhere in Polanco or the 3 spots near the corner of Tamaulipas and Michoacán streets in Condesa, on the main plaza in San Angel, any of several palces in Zona Rosa or near the Four Seasons or have churros and a cappucino or chocolate caliente in Coyoacán near Freida Kahlo's house. Just don't expect her to join you!
